Happier Tails Rescue Inc. is a 501c(3) foster-based, nonprofit, no-kill rescue located in L.A. County. We serve most communities in Southern California areas. We are a rescue organization that saves the unwanted, abused, forgotten, abandoned, red-listed dogs in shelters and in our communities. We rescue all breeds, sizes and ages. All our foster dogs are placed in homes, and never in kennels or in boarding facilities. Happier Tails Rescue is here to help where we can, but we also Rescue Responsibly, with what we can handle at any given time.

We put animals first! Our rescue runs solely on donations from supporters, and because we are a non-profit, all donations are tax deductible. Rest assured that 100% of donations go directly to help rescue, feed, care for and save the life of a dog in need!

All of our rescue animals receive high quality veterinary care, are up to date on vaccinations, are spayed & neutered and micro-chipped before being adopted out to loving homes. Our adoption policy consists of an application, screenings, home checks and adoption contracts.
